Local group offers 'how to' manual

To paraphrase President John Kennedy, ask not what your community can do for you, but what you can do for your community. Voting on election day is the least we can do for our community.

Citizens For the Future of San Marcos is a nonpartisan, ad hoc group of adult and teen-age community members formed to help motivate friends and neighbors to take part in our local government. Our goal is to increase the level of individual participation in community meetings and voter turn out in the coming elections by producing and distributing a "how to" manual on local government.
