Golfing

World Golf Hall Of Fame Jacksonville, Florida

I discovered the fun and challenge of Golf in June of 2000, and have been asking myself why it took me so long ever since.

My Brother Jim took the game up in the same month, and we've been playing together ever since. What a game!

While visiting Jacksonville for my Grandaughter's graduation from the University of North Florida, we happened upon the fabulous World Golf complex, took a tour and participated in the 137 yard "Challenge Hole" over water to an island green. I won a poster for placing three balls on the green--one about two feet from the cup--a fluke to be sure--but memorable never the less.
