Software Development

During 1985 and '86 I founded Techno-Data Inc. to design and produce a computer program which I first licensed to a subsidiary of San Diego's Cubic Corporation on a trial basis, subsequently entering into a long-term license agreement with Bird Incorporated, an old-line east-coast company (founded in 1795).

I was then engaged as a Marketing Consultant to help Bird market the product, which we named and copyrighted "the Competitive Edge". Bird Construction Software was formed as a new company to continue development and sell the product nationaly. I became acting President/CEO of Bird Construction Software. A year later, I became Chariman, continuing my consulting role after hiring a full time president for the company.

When the license agreement expired, the product was marketed by Builders Marketing and Management Services.
